Remember when choker necklaces were all the rage.
Remember the snap bracelets that we used to wear as pre-teens (which actually got recalled for being dangerous).
Remember rhinestone belt buckles that spelled out your name.
Well, these add-on pieces are not especially popular now but I'm sure within the next few years these styles will be reinvented and become trendy again - just like many other fashion statements,
e.g. bell bottoms, leg warmers, and pencil skirts.
Some accessories that I've spotted recently included chunky necklaces or necklaces that hang low and usually have an attached pendant or charm. Like these:
* Chunky necklace from Girlsforfrisk.com
*Super long necklaces from Avery Jasper Jewelry
I think the ultimate accessory this season is the scarf. No matter what the length, color, or fabric, everyone can wear them; skinny, curvy, tall, short- it doesn't matter. The scarf does not discriminate. There are so many ways to wear the scarf too and depending on how wide it is, you may even be able to use it like a shawl.
The scarf gives any outfit the final touch. It can make the casual ensemble look more dressy, and the formal attire more dressed down. You really can't go wrong with the good ol' scarf!
Here's a helpful Youtube video I found about the different ways we can wear them.
